A metal biscuit tin decorated with a fox hunting scene

The three scenes on this tin called “Meeting at Cover”, “Breaking Cover”and “Full Cry” have been reproduced from aquatints made by Sutherland from the original paintings by Henry Alken 1784-1851.  The tin is representative of a variety of household items and gift ware that include fox hunting scenes.
